The Qnap TS-1079 Pro Ghana features a 10 GbE (Gigabit Ethernet) expandable with 2 additional Gigabit Ethernet ports, or 2 10Gigabit Ethernet ports for excellence performance, reaching over 1,000 MB/s and 100,000 IOPS. The storage device is equipped with a multi-core processor and DDR3 memory. The SATA III interface, offer a blazing-fast data transfer rates of up to 6.0 Gb/s. Qnap TS-1079 Pro also features USB SuperSpeed 3.0 connectivity, which offers data rates up to 5.0 Gb/s and RAID for data protection powered by Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and UNIX compatible.
